This is it - the SISU IRON. Team SISU members, this is the one event every year you will not want to miss!

We will not be telling you exactly what is planned for the event. What you can plan on is to be challenged like you never have before.

We have an amazing location reserved for this event - Camp Trask in Monrovia Canyon Park. It's a Boy Scout camp that has been used in several movies. There are snakes and bears...we will truly be escaping the city and entering the wilderness of the Angeles Forest. It's a beautiful setting with creeks and waterfalls. You can bring your tents and camp out before / after the event.*

We are also proud to announce that the SISU Iron is a qualifier for the OCR 24 Hour Enduro Championships!!!

Top 3 Men and Women Qualify!

Here's what some of our past participants had to say about the event:

"The SISU Iron is one hell of a fun and challenging race and I want to challenge each one of you to put it on your calendar next year."
-- Bryan Standley
"I start this week [after the event] feeling like I have a new family.  And they're completely off their rockers, just the way I like them."
-- Katie Grisko
"All of the participants are awesome! This group of people, who participate, would help anyone do anything. If you could bottle up the experience and transplant it into the world, there would be a lot less problems. The Race Directors put their hearts and souls into making this a life changing event for people! The volunteers are friends and family!"
-- Ryan Tworek (3x finisher)
"Had the best experience of my life this weekend at the Sisu Iron. I was surrounded by people who fully embody the word 'alive' by embracing both suffering and joy simultaneously."
-- Mindy England
"The two most important lessons I learned this weekend were: 1) I didn't let myself down; I can do it, and 2) Team SISU consists of people I want to spend many years of events with."
-- Tiffany Yvonne Germain
"They aren't going to give you the patches, I had to earn each one. Each challenge, each task required a different set of skills but they all required mental grit....I'm coming away from this event with the spike and patches but more so with a greater extended family of weirdos and lifelong experiences I can recall in my later days. I can't wait to sign up for this event next year."
-- Alberto Medellin
"I want to give a HUGE thank you to all of the staff who made this happen, the volunteers who always kept a smile and positive attitude and pushed us to keep going, all the other athletes who were there with me you are all AMAZING!!!!"
-- Maria Hernandez (2016 Iron Woman award winner)
"The SISU Iron was like no other event I've taken part in.... I learned, I grew, I loved it! Ok, I hated it, but I loved it! This was my first DNF, but I'm ok with that. When I left the camp, I told myself that was good, never again. Today, two days later, I am ready to sign up for SISU Iron 2017."
-- Bonnie Nuciforo
"The Iron was a great event: very diverse and challenging tasks, gorgeous venue, great staff, terrific participants!"
-- Fabian Linder
"What an event!! What an honor to be holding that finisher's stake.  38-ish hours of grinding it out, crazy challenges, and fighting uncontrollable shivers.  So grateful to the SISU staff & volunteers for the fantastic tasks and kind words amongst the limit-pushing commands and challenges."
-- Andi Hardy
